MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is a 250-bed regional acute care center located on 145 beautiful acres of wooded property in Midland, Michigan. MyMichigan Medical Center Midland provides a range of primary care services as well as outstanding specialty care. The Pardee Cancer Center and Neuroscience Institute are widely recognized for their medical capabilities in the areas of cardio-thoracic, oncology, neurology and neurosurgery, urology and trauma. The medical center offers services in obstetrics, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, diabetes and emergency care among others. Ancillary services include PET/CT scanning, daVinci, Gamma Knife, radiation therapy, laboratory, cardiology, pharmacy, cardiac cath lab and on site MRI. The Medical Center also has a three-year Family Practice Residency Program, one of the oldest such programs in the country.

MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is part of MyMichigan Health, a growing health system with eight medical centers, six outpatient and five urgent care centers, home care, long-term care and a physicians group. Requirements

Full-time, BC/BE experienced or graduating Palliative/Hospice resident or fellow. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient with excellent clinical and technical skills and experience with a busy inpatient and outpatient service.

MyMichigan Medical Group has an immediate opening for a full time permanent Palliative and Hospice Medicine Physician.

  • 5 days a week
  • Joining 8 other Advanced Practice Providers
  • Hospice Medical Director with clinical and administrative responsibilities
  • Palliative and Hospice staff consultation
  • Span services from inpatient care to ambulatory care
  • Home visits may be required at times
  • Rotation of on-call after hours
