JH Walker Foundation Donates Car Seats to Medical Center
Representatives from MyMichigan Health Foundation, as well as MyMichigan Medical Center Midland’s Trauma Program and Maternal Child Health Unit, accepted a car seat donation from Justin and Lindsay Walker on behalf of the JH Walker Foundation.
Lindsay and Justin Walker, on behalf of the JH Walker Foundation, recently donated car seats to MyMichigan Medical Center Midland, helping to ensure infants and children discharged from the hospital are able to leave in a safe car seat.
Donated to the MyMichigan Medical Center Midland Trauma Program, the car seats are given to infants or young children who were involved in an automobile accident and are no longer able to use their current car seat. In addition, MyMichigan’s Maternal Child Health Unit received car seats to be used for their patients. The JH Walker Foundation also gifted car seats to MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena and MyMichigan Medical Center Sault as part of their largest car seat donation to date.
The JH Walker Foundation was formed in honor of James Henry (Jimmy) Walker who passed away in an automobile accident when he was four months old. The Foundation’s goal is to support their community by supporting child safety and enrichment, including child travel safety.
