Community Health Survey Extended to Oct. 6
Community members 18 years and older are invited to take part in an online Community Health Needs Assessment hosted by MyMichigan Health. The survey has been extended and will remain open through Oct. 6, 2024, for those living in the following counties: Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Arenac, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Clare, Crawford, Emmet, Gladwin, Grand Traverse, Iosco, Isabella, Kalkaska, Lake, Leelanau, Manistee, Mason, Mecosta, Missaukee, Montmorency, Newaygo, Oceana, Ogemaw, Osceola, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon, Wexford.
“Every three years, MyMichigan Health conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment in order to identify the health and social needs affecting the community,” said Brent Mikkola, M.B.A., P.M.P., community health manager, MyMichigan Health. “Feedback from community members received through the survey is vital in helping MyMichigan understand the pressing health needs and priorities from the communities’ perspective. The results of the survey will be used to develop the focus of the next community health improvement plan and other wellness activities.”
The completed Community Health Needs Assessment report is expected to be shared publicly on the MyMichigan website by the end of June 2025. Those interested in taking the Community Health Perceptions Survey may visit www.mymichigan.org/chna2024.
