MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw Foundation has named Drs. Lioudmila and Nikolai Kinachtchouk as the 2024 recipients of the prestigious Legacy of Care Award (formerly known as the Spirit of St. Vincent Award). This award is presented annually to at least one highly respected physician who has rendered long and noteworthy service to the Great Lakes Bay community. Drs. Kinachtchouk will be celebrated at the 30th Annual Cornette Ball on Saturday, Nov. 23, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The yearly event will be at Horizons Conference Center, 6200 State Street in Saginaw.
Both Drs Lioudmila and Nikolai Kinachtchouk have supported the Great Lakes Bay Region and its families since 2001. The dedication and compassion shown daily for their patients, families, clinical and administrative colleagues is nothing short of exceptional.
“Dr. Lioudmila and Dr. Nikolai Kinachtchouk are more than deserving of this year’s Legacy of Care Award,” said Mike Erickson, president, MyMichigan Medical Centers Saginaw, Standish, Tawas and Towne Centre. “This is a special year as we celebrate several incredible milestones of caring for the region, including the 150th anniversary of MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw and the Cornette Ball’s 30th anniversary. Drs. Kinachtchouk have also contributed to the longstanding legacy of providing the very best care for the community. They truly emulate MyMichigan Health’s purpose of Creating Healthy Communities – Together.’”
