Biography
Dayna Shuster, P.A.-C., is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine who sees patients at the East End building in downtown Midland.
Philosophy of Care
“I enjoy providing preventative care to my patients, as well as caring for them during an acute illness,” she said. She loves that her profession allows her to provide care to patients over time as well, so she is able to build long-term, meaningful relationships with them.
She believes her patients should play an active role in their own care. “I place a great emphasis on preventative medicine, and as a provider, I enjoy helping patients set individualized health goals.”
Dayna wants her patients to feel comfortable approaching her with any concerns they may have, whether they are physical, emotional, or social. “I want to collaborate with my patients to build treatment plans as a team.”
She spends time educating her patients on their health conditions and encourages them to ask questions in order to fully understand their health conditions. “I work to develop their trust by listening to their concerns and educating them on their health conditions.” Dayna strongly believes that knowledge is key to patients living healthy lifestyles.
In her spare time, Dayna enjoys running, hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her family.
