Philosophy of Care
“I strive to offer evidence-based, compassionate care,” said Dr. Fairchild. “ I hope to cultivate an atmosphere of teamwork between the patient and myself, where we work together to find the solutions that best address their concerns that are in line with their personal preferences and lifestyle.”
“I am never happier than when a patient comes in for follow up after surgery or other successful intervention and reports that their treatment is allowing them do things that were previously limited due to their pelvic floor disorder.”
“I seek to partner with patients in their care and try to be very approachable in my bedside manner. I strive to have my patients felt heard and understood. I offer the full scope of surgical treatment options including native tissue (non-mesh) as well as mesh-augmented repairs for urinary incontinence and prolapse. I am excited that we also have some minimally invasive treatment options available for urinary incontinence and prolapse.”
Dr. Fairchild is married and has two young girls. She enjoys crafting, baking, playing piano, and being outdoors with family and friends.
