Biography
Patrick Morse, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with MyMichigan Medical Group who specializes in both general pediatric and adult orthopedics.
Dr. Morse has provided orthopedic care to patients throughout Northeast Michigan for more than 17 years. As an orthopedic surgeon, he is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of injuries, disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. This system includes bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves and tendons.
“I have always enjoyed sports both as a participant and spectator,” Dr. Morse said. “The field of orthopedic surgery has given me the unique opportunity to care for local athletes of all ages and to help them successfully return to the sport they enjoy. It is extremely rewarding to help patients get back to their active lifestyle.”
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Morse believes in treating his patients and their loved ones as though they are a part of his family. “I believe in developing lifelong friendships with my patients, characterized by open and honest two-way communications,” he said. “I want my patients to know that they will be treated with compassionate care from a physician who is first and foremost a kind human being.”
Special Interests and Procedures
Special interests for Dr. Morse include total joint replacement, general orthopedics, shoulder arthroscopy, sports medicine, trauma and fracture care, hand surgery, foot and ankle reconstruction and general pediatric orthopedics. He also specializes in operative and non-operative treatment of osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis.
In his free time, Dr. Morse likes to spend time outdoors where he enjoys mountain biking, camping, golfing, playing tennis and running.
