Biography

James Shepich, M.D. is an experienced board certified general surgeon with advanced training in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery. As a general surgeon, he specializes in procedures to remove gallbladders, repair hernias and treat conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract.

According to Dr. Shepich, he chose to the field of general surgery because of the hands-on technical aspect of surgical care and the broad spectrum of conditions that can be treated. “I also enjoy working with my hands,” he said.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Shepich believes in creating a partnership with his patients based on trust and wants to educate them so that they can make informed decisions about their health care. “I treat every patient like a family member,” he said. “I enjoy the day-to-day interaction with my patients and knowing that I can improve someone’s life.”
