Gamma Knife® Perfexion is a revolutionary type of surgery that uses highly targeted radiation to treat brain tumors and other abnormalities such as arteriovenous malformations (AVM) and trigeminal neuralgia (Read more about Gamma Knife). Since our patients come from all across Michigan, the Medical Center offers a Hospitality Service, which provides low-cost lodging at nearby Fairview Inn, free transportation to and from the Medical Center plus other amenities.

In addition, commercial or low-cost air transportation options are available. Ask our Gamma Knife Coordinator for details about any of these services.
