Parkinson's Support Group - Gladwin
Parkinson's affects many people. It is very common for people with Parkinson's and their caregivers to suffer a feeling of being alone, among many other obstacles caused by the condition.
This support group is designed for people with Parkinson's, their families and other support individuals. The group allows participants to share their journeys, obstacles, triumphs and provide emotional support for each other along the way.
Group topics include: learning coping techniques, sharing knowledge and experiences, making new friends and offering and receiving support from those who understand.
The program is held in collaboration with MyMichigan Medical Center Gladwin and the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
