Making a Donation
There are three convenient ways to give:

May I make a tax-deductible contribution?
Yes. MyMichigan Home Care is a non-profit organization and your gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Gifts to MyMichigan Home Care may be designated to provide home care for people who do not have the means to pay for such care or for equipment, training or patient/staff education. Gifts for hospice care may be designated for each county served.
How do I plan to have donations made to MyMichigan Home Care in memory of my family member?
When a family member passes away, you may request through funeral homes that donations be made to MyMichigan Home Care. For additional information, please call (800) 862-5002.
Memorial Gift
Donations to MyMichigan Home Care memorial funds are used to provide home care for patients who have no means to pay. It has been a long-standing tradition at MyMichigan Home Care to serve everyone regardless of ability to pay. These funds help purchase essential medicines and special equipment, and deliver home health care, hospice services, and medical equipment to those who cannot afford it. Memorial gifts may be made at any time during the year in memory of a friend or loved one who has passed away. Donors are gratefully acknowledged, and the closest family member of the person being remembered receives an announcement of the tribute and a list of all donors.
Annual Appeal
This program allows MyMichigan Home Care to provide home health and hospice care and medical equipment to anyone with limited funds in need of service. Each donation benefits those who are unable to pay for home care expenses.
Circle of Care
Patients and their families are invited to recognize MyMichigan Home Care staff who go above and beyond to provide excellent care through the Circle of Care. After a donation is received, donors receive an acknowledgement letter and staff are recognized by their manager and the president of the organization.
The Giving Tree
The Giving Tree, located in the main office of MyMichigan Home Care in Midland, Michigan honors individuals, families and organizations who make gifts of $200 or more for charitable care, equipment and other needs. The bronze leaves of the tree, engraved with the names of honorees and donors, symbolize living tributes to whomever the gift is dedicated. Leaves remain on the tree for a period of time determined by the amount of the donation. After the time is up, donors have an opportunity to renew gifts.
Butterflies in the Park
MyMichigan Home Care recognizes the grieving process and importance of honoring loved ones. Butterflies in the Park allows individuals to make a donation to the agency to help others and release a live butterfly in a loved one's memory or honor at the same time.
Stars in the Gardens
Contributions made to Stars in the Gardens allow individuals to honor friends and family, living and deceased, with a beautiful handcrafted porcelain ornament. Proceeds from Stars in the Gardens benefit MyMichigan Home Care patients, while providing recognition and honor to loved ones.
