Biography
Certified physician assistant Paige Clare, P.A.-C., specializes in family medicine. She sees patients of all ages at MyMichigan Urgent Care Midland.
Philosophy of Care
“I love that family medicine allows me to see all ages of patients as well as a wide variety of problems and concerns,” she said. “I enjoy being the first person people come to for their care. I also felt drawn to a rural area because I grew up in a small town myself.”
“The most important thing to me is treating the patient, not just the disease. My job is to help my patients live their lives to the fullest. I believe in educating the patients about their concerns and potential treatments so that we can make educated decisions about their care together. I also strongly believe in evidence-based medicine and the importance of staying up to date on the most current recommendations.”
“I hope to develop long-term, trusting relationships with my patients. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and finding out what is important to them.”
“The most satisfying thing to me is improving my patient’s life in any aspect. Knowing that I made a difference in that person’s life is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.”
“I try to involve my patient in their care as much as possible and try to give patients options so they can choose what works best for them.
Additionally, when presented with a problem I do not consider my job complete until I find a good solution.”
“I think one of the best representations of how far the medical community has come is the variety of cancer screening tools we have available to us. Because of this, we have been able to initiate treatments earlier for diseases that would have otherwise gone untreated.”
Paige’s pasttimes include reading, spending time with family and friends, exploring all that Michigan has to offer, and travelling.
