Philosophy of Care
“I really value having a personal, long-term relationship with my patients and getting to know them, their interests, their families and their health care goals. I like being able to help them through their tough times and celebrate the good ones with them.”
“I believe we must be committed to our health on a daily basis. Being active and making appropriate choices with our food have a direct impact on our health and how we feel.”
“I try to educate patients on their bodies and disease processes so they better understand their health and how to improve their quality of life.”
“It’s incredibly satisfying when my patient has decided to make positive changes in their daily life and we see direct results in weight, blood, pressure, diabetes, cholesterol. Reducing medications that are no longer needed rather than adding them is the highlight of my day.”
“Over the years, the value of preventive care has become more widely accepted. Through evidence-based guidelines we can now recommend testing, labs and imaging that enable us to discover concerns far sooner so we can explore treatment options prior to the many complications that can occur later in the disease process.”
Ken has ten years of experience in the field of cardiology, which is extremely useful in helping patients with complex health histories to manage their conditions and risk factors.
Ken’s hobbies include outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, running and biking and he enjoys sports of any type. He also likes spending time with family and supporting them in their interests. Ken’s wife, Sarah is also a physician assistant in Midland and they have two children.
