Biography
Jessica Dowda, M.D., specializes in Family Medicine. She sees patients at MyMichigan Family Medicine in the Campus Ridge Building in Midland, Michigan.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Dowda enjoys working with patients of all ages and helping patients stay as healthy as possible to keep them out of the hospital.
“I believe in treating patients as if they are my own family members,” said Dr. Dowda, “The word ‘teamwork’ comes to mind as I work together with patients to achieve their best health mentally and physically.”
“Seeing patients meet their health goals so they can go about their day to day life without limitation is one of the most satisfying aspects of my profession.”
“Patients have mentioned that I am a good listener. I try my best to explain medical terminology and concepts in an easy manner, so patients understand what is going on with their health and why certain recommendations were given.”
During her spare time, Dr. Dowda enjoys fitness, including HIIT (high intensity interval training) and cycling classes, as well as spending time with family and friends.
