Philosophy of Care
“I always enjoyed taking care of women regarding their gynecologic and reproductive concerns during my time in emergency medicine,” said Julayne. “It wasn’t until I struggled through my own diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and infertility that it truly become a passion and career goal for me to provide care in a dedicated OB/GYN setting.”
Julayne believes that everyone should have the same access to quality healthcare regardless of race, religion, gender, social status, sexual preferences, etc.
“I want my patients to feel that my exam room is a safe space for them. I want them to feel that they are able to voice any and all concerns without any judgement from me and feel that all of their concerns are being listened to and taken with upmost seriousness.”
Julayne feels helping someone find a solution to their problem is the greatest reward of her work, “whether that be finding a diagnosis to a long un-answered problem or creating a treatment plan to improve a patient’s outcome, symptoms or quality of life.”
“I am a people person through and through. I have excellent bedside manner and I enjoy getting to know my patients. I will always listen and not dismiss your concerns. If it is important to you, it is important to me.”
Julayne is encouraged by continuous advancements in assisted reproductive technology for infertility.
“Giving those the opportunity to bear children that may not have had the chance otherwise is simply astounding.”
During her free time, Julayne loves spending time in her kitchen cooking and baking or with family, including her husband Ryan, son Beckham and daughter Isla.
“I enjoy all things coffee. I love getting lost in a good book, thrifting and any arts and crafts projects.”
