Biography
Samantha Haken, M.D. specializes in family medicine. She sees patients of all ages at MyMichigan Family Medicine, located in the Midland Professional Suites building on W. Wackerly Street in Midland.
Philosophy of Care
“My name means ‘the listener’ and this truly embodies my philosophy of care,” Dr. Haken said. “As a medical student, I was taught to listen to my patients and they will lead me to the answer. Patients are experts on their own bodies and feelings. Through shared decision making we are able to find successful treatments that work for them.”
“My favorite part of every appointment is the first few minutes when I get to catch up with my patients. I truly enjoy the human connection that medicine provides. I love connecting with my patients and their families and partnering with them to find a solution. It is one of my greatest joys to care for an entire family and help them reach their health goals.”

“I grew up in a very small town in Northeastern Michigan. I am new to the Midland area, and my family and I are excited to make Midland our new home. My husband, Nate, and I have a two year old daughter. My husband and I enjoy golfing, and I am attempting to learn to play the piano.”
