Biography
Kelly Hamilton, M.D., specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Hamilton has a special interest in treating high-risk pregnancies, is skilled in laparoscopic procedures and has had training in robotic surgery.
“I chose to specialize in women’s health because it offers the opportunity to care for women in all stages of life,” Dr. Hamilton said. “I enjoy caring for patients from adolescence, through the reproductive years, and into menopause and later life. As an OB/GYN, I am in a unique position to develop long-lasting relationships with patients and help guide them through a healthy life. I hope to empower patients to take control of their own health as active participants in their care.”
Philosophy of Care
“I recognize that each woman’s situation or problem is unique, and I tailor treatment plans to meet each individual’s needs,” Dr. Hamilton said. She believes the most successful doctor/patient relationships are built on a foundation of open and honest communication. “I want my patients to feel comfortable talking with me about any issue and know that they will always be treated with care and respect. I will spend as much time as necessary to understand their problem and answer their questions.”
Dr. Hamilton and her husband, Adam, who is also a physician, grew up in Midland. They have two children. “We are both happy to be living and working in the community that has given so much to both of us,” she said. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and softball, spending time with her family and her dogs, and watching Notre Dame football.
