Philosophy of Care
Rachel enjoys the challenge of working with a diverse population of older patients and helping them to manage their health through preventive care and education.
“My goal is to provide patient-centered care that involves the whole person,” Rachel said. “I try to make patients feel as comfortable as possible so they are able to open up and trust in the care that I provide. I feel that health care is a team effort and patients are the captains. I am here to educate and encourage them to be the healthiest they can possibly be.”
“It’s important to build a trusting relationship with my patients; all my patients should feel at home in the office. It’s satisfying to help them attain their health goals, whether that be weight loss or blood sugar control.”
Rachel’s hobbies include running, knitting, crocheting and spending time at the rink with her son. She and her husband, Mark, have three children.
