Biography
Sujay Madduri, M.D., is with the endocrinology practice of MyMichigan Medical Group based in Midland.
Dr. Madduri was introduced to the field of endocrinology at an early age through his personal and family health issues. “This is what I always wanted to become since my childhood and I feel it’s rewarding, both personally and professionally,” he explained.
He said, “I enjoy working in an outpatient clinic as I am meeting new people, learning their stories and building a lasting rapport. I have always cherished the happiness of helping my patients through the ups and downs of their life.”
Philosophy of Care
“I believe every patient should have their own share of life, free from hormone related problems which are often chronic and sometimes subtle as well as undiagnosed.” Dr Madduri is excited about recent advancements in the field of endocrinology that will assist in diagnosis and provide the best evidence-based treatment options.
Dr. Madduri is passionate about treating thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, reproductive, calcium and bone disorders besides diabetes. He explains, “Just like diabetes, other endocrine problems are ongoing and often need lifelong support.” He adds, “My professional goal is to make my abilities accessible to my patients and make a healthy difference in their lives.”
Dr. Madduri’s professional memberships include The Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and he is a fellow in the American College of Physicians. He is an inducted member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor medical society. Additionally, he is a certified clinician in the field of bone densitometry.
His personal hobbies include travel, photography, web-designing and swimming. His wife is also a physician, and they have two children.
