Lisa Miller, R.N., M.N., A.R.N.P.-B.C., C.N.R.N. is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for neurosurgery patients at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland. Philosophy of Care
“I believe that my role as a provider is to assist, educate, support and encourage patients and their families to make the best possible health care decisions,” said Lisa. “I respect the patient’s dignity and show compassionate care to patients and their families.”
Lisa has more than 10 years of experience in treating spinal and cranial conditions including lumbar and cervical spondylosis, stenosis, spondylolisthesis vertebral compression fractures and brain and spine tumors.
“I strive to create a relationship that is built on trust and to offer the most up-to-date, evidenced-based healthcare information. I really enjoy evaluating the neuro-electrical system and find it particularly interesting how the brain communicates to every living cell.”
“Our team has years of experience working with patients who have neurosurgical needs, so we can provide the best possible outcomes. There are many more types of surgery that can now be done non-invasively, which also helps us provide excellent outcomes with less risk and shorter recovery.”
During her free time, Lisa enjoys being with family, reading, quilting, studying her family history and swimming.
She is married to Scott Miller and has three children: Madelyn, Noah, and Luke.
