Biography
John Szajenko, M.D., is a physical medicine & rehabilitation physician who sees patients in Midland, and performs procedures at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland.
Dr. Szajenko’s interest in the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation started with his interest in sports. “As I progressed through my studies, I recognized my preference toward the neurologic and musculoskeletal systems,” he said. “I also realized I was much more inclined toward non-surgical treatment, which ultimately led me to the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.”
My philosophy of care emphasizes the goal of improving a patient’s quality of life. We evaluate and treat individuals with various conditions ranging from sports injuries and occupational injuries to arthritis and neurologic disorders. There may be a focus on returning to sports, returning to work, or resuming gardening activities as examples.
