The Midland campus is MyMichigan Health's largest center, and features a patient tower with private patient rooms which opened in 2011. In addition to the 324-bed Medical Center, the campus includes an ambulatory surgery center, (Riecker Surgery Center), Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Program, Cancer Center, Center for Women's Health, infusion center, Heart and Vascular Center, to name a few and multiple medical office buildings.
It is a regional referral site as well as a community medical center.
In addition to the Midland campus, MyMichigan Health has other Medical Center campuses in Alma, Alpena, Clare, Gladwin, Mt. Pleasant, Sault Ste. Marie, and West Branch.
The residency program is affiliated with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. We view the affiliation as a true partnership in patient care, medical education, and research.
As an unopposed family medicine program, there are no other residencies or residents to stand in your way or to compete for clinical experiences. There is no lottery for rotations or attendings. Instead, all clinical experiences are yours to be had if you desire.
