Ethics

When an ethical issue arises an ethics committee will be convened by the leadership of the organization. This convened committee is responsible for ethical decisions related to patients within our organization.

MyMichigan Health strives to do the right things, in the right ways, with the right intentions. Because of the importance of “doing the right things” in all aspects of our work, MyMichigan Health has a Corporate Compliance Program. Its goal is to make sure we comply with applicable laws and regulations, ethical standards, and our own policies and procedures‐practicing integrity in what we do.

The Corporate Compliance Program looks at our current practices and seeks ways to reduce the potential for organizational misconduct. It is a coordinated effort throughout the organization to prevent unlawfully or undesired activity.

If you have concerns about what you think might be improper or illegal actions, immediately contact your supervisor, call the Corporate Compliance Officer (989)839-3136 or call the compliance hotline (989)837‐5471.
