About
The Tolfree Wellness Park, located on the campus of MyMichigan Medical Center West Branch, is an unique destination for the community to experience outdoor wellness as a part of their everyday lives. The park introduces the community to the system’s preventive care approach to health care and is part of the overall health and wellness program. It is a safe and inviting place for people to come together and engage in physical activity surrounded by nature.

Pat’s Pooch Park
Pat’s Pooch Park is a place where dog owners can feel comfortable knowing their dogs can get exercise and socialize in a safe space. The park promotes responsible dog ownership and contributes to making the West Branch community a safe and healthy place to work, live and play. The park is open for visitors daily from dusk to dawn and includes:
- A five-foot fenced off-leash dog area, divided into one area for small dogs and one for large dogs
- An open sheltered area
- Benches
- Access to the Tolfree Trails and parking
In the spring and summer months, the park offers community gardens, worm beds for composting and assisting to decrease food waste and hydroponic units to grow vegetables. While you’re there, take a walk on the walking trails. Community events are held throughout the year at the park, including Grow & Grill, which features seasonal dinners using ingredients straight from the gardens.
MyMichigan Health Foundation would like to thank Searfoss Developments, LLC, and the many generous community supporters who built and maintain this beautiful asset in our West Branch community.
