Lifestyle Medicine Support Group
Participating in a lifestyle medicine program includes, for many people, significant change to their habits, including those surrounding food, exercise, stress management and more. After completing a lifestyle medicine program, participants may have questions or need additional support when it comes to continuing to implement these changes into their everyday lives. To assist with this, MyMichigan Health is now offering a lifestyle medicine support group.
During monthly virtual meetings, participants will be able to get peer-to-peer support, share ideas and recipes and discuss the pillars of lifestyle medicine. Speakers may also attend the meetings, sharing new lifestyle medicine resources as they become available. Topics may include how to maintain a whole-food, plant-based diet, movement and exercise and stress management.
